god made Starbucks for a reason

Last night entailed a ritualistic trip to Starbucks for a grande dark roast with sugar-free hazlenut. There isn't anything better. I have grown extremely fond of coffee since meeting Karl back in 2002. Before that I wouldn't touch the stuff, it was horrible. So I guess it's an acquired taste. Yum.

XM 83 - Chrome. The Disco station. It's amazing. We jam to it at work everyday and it's contagious. I listen to it in the car on the way home, into work and when i'm running errands. The music is so upbeat and danceable. Get XM! It's out of this world, literally.

Interior, sorry about the flash it reflected off of the dash.

Tribeca

and so it goes..

I know it has been quite a while since I have posted. I apologize. I even took my picture down because it was yucky.

The holidays were great and of course, busy. I went out and bought XM Satellite Radio a couple of days after Karl had installed his. It is amazing. You really don't realize how nice it is to have commercial free radio until you listen to it for hours on end. Not one commercial, not ONE! I bought a home kit for the apartment so I can play it through the stereo. We can now entertain without having to worry about changing CDs or fast forwarding through songs. The songs they play are hardly ever repeated and the mix is always great. Nothing but good things to say about it. Spend the $100 on the unit and the $10 a month for subscription, it is worth it.

In the realm of Subaru, remember I work as an accountant for the largest dealership in the country...we are coming out with a crossover utility vehicle. A friendly name for an SUV, basically. It is bigger than the Outback and mated with the top of the line Outback's engine, a 250 horsepower 6 cylinder engine. I seem to think that it will be underpowered, especially for a car weighing in at nearly 4300 pounds. We'll see, I guess. Karl went to Detroit Auto Show for its debut and said it was a really nice looking vehicle. I will post pictures of the Tribeca later.

My best friend who was going to school in Washington, D.C. and then came back to Rochester after she graduated from college is leaving again to move to New York City. I am quite envious. Ever since Karl spoiled me by taking me there, I have wanted to live there. It is just so damn expensive, however, I would be willing to sacrifice the extra expense for an amazing city. There is just so much to do and see. I could get more into photography. But, i'm happy in Rochester. My job is great, my family is here and so is my boyfriend. Things work out for a reason.
