happy thanksgiving

Tomorrow is already Thanksgiving and I was thinking about how I have to work on Friday. I don't know how I feel about that. I could be out shopping for myself or others for Christmas. I could be at Target playing amongst the merchandise. Not fair.

Kitty (the owner of the Subaru store) was driving around in the parts truck handing out turkeys to all of us today - isn't that great?

Our latest purchase - a 2005 Subaru Legacy GT. 250 turbocharged and intercooled horses at my disposal.

uh huh, gmail

First of all I must send a big thank you to DJ Mischiff for sending me an invite to gmail. I have heard about the email service for the past 6 months or so and have not been able to find a way to join it. I have been reading his blog for a while and there it was - a little post about the up and coming Gmail service.

So thanks again. I owe you for this.

slowly fading

I have come to realization that I need coffee to survive through the day. Right around 2 o'clock, after my 4 or 5 morning cups have worn off I get extremely lethargic. Almost to the point where I just don't want to do anymore work. I have the same feeling now. I met up with a friend at Starbuck's and had a cup of coffee at 6'ish. I am already losing steam and I really want to watch Law and Order. I could go to bed earlier, but what fun is that?

The decision was made to have Thanksgiving at my parent's house this year. Karl and I had planned on going to NYC to spend it with his friends, but that idea fell through. We don't even have the Friday after Thanksgiving off. I guess I should snap back to reality and look at the big picture. I do work at a car dealership and cars are a retail item. So if the biggest shopping day in the US is the day after Thanksgiving (black friday), then people should be out buying cars, right?

No...I think they are going to be so stuffed full of turkey and god damn mashed potatoes and shit from the day before that they won't be wobbling out to test drive a car. In all likeliehood, they won't want to buy a car either.

Toys

As mentioned in the post below, I purchased my newest toy, a fingerprint reader. I also got a new digital camera. A Canon A85. After purchasing a Sony DSC-P73 I just wasn't happy. The image quality was mediocre at best, even for a 4.1 megapixel camera. I opted for the Canon and have been happy with every picture taken so far.

Now that I have got all these goodies, i'm not sure what I want for Christmas. I will have to look at more gadgets here.

Microsoft's fingerprint reader, sitting on my desk at home. Enough said.

It's the most wonderful time of the year

It is that time again. The stores are putting up their decorations, holiday commercials are airing and of course Target has all of their Christmas merchandise displayed. (seems like that have had it out since September) The first snow has already happend here. It seems a little bit early, but the sooner the better, the more the merrier.

I bought a new digital camera last night so don't be alarmed if I start plastering pictures all over the place.

This post is overdue, just like my damn libary books

I am at work thinking about how I haven't posted in about two weeks. I don't have the time to elaborate on my life at the moment, so look for a post later on this evening.
